Renaissance Resort at World Golf Village offers military travel deals Members of the armed forces deserve a little rest and relaxation whenever they can get it. The Renaissance Resort at World of Golf Village in St. Augustine, Florida, is offering a great military travel deal for those who like to play a round of golf from time to time.

The "American Hero Stay & Play" package was recently announced by The Renaissance Resort, and includes one round of golf on either the King & Bear championship course or the Slammer & Squire course, along with luxurious accommodations, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Low rates are available for both active and retired members of the U.S. military. The offer is good through September 30, according to the news source.

For those who just want to relax on the nearby beaches, the resort is also offering an "American Hero Rate" that includes accommodations along with a complimentary breakfast for two. This deal is valid for stays through December 31.

"Our nation's military personnel, law enforcement officers and firefighters make so many sacrifices, for which we're very grateful, and we're offering this special package and rate so they can enjoy a relaxing getaway at a beautifully remodeled resort, with so many recreational options," Mark Schwanter, general manager of the resort, told the news source.
