Military men and women can retire in style just outside of Fort BraggFor retired soldiers, moving off base may be one of the more difficult events in the retirement process. But for former soldiers at North Carolina's Fort Bragg the move may not be so far, as the Fairway Pointe Condos begin offering retirement housing for former soldiers just outside of the North Carolina installation.

Situated in the community of Anderson Creek Club, the Fairway Condos offers retirees the chance to enjoy their newfound freedom without feeling disconnected from the military community. The neighborhood is conveniently located near the coast and the mountains, and provides easy access to local schools, hospitals, shopping and restaurants.

Thanks to its proximity to Fayetteville, the area has a well pronounced military presence, boasting both easy access to Fort Bragg and the Airborne and Special Operations Museum. Its patriotism and folksy charm have earned the area an "All American City" award from the National Civic League.

The neighborhood also has a booming economy thanks to job-creating initiatives that could help soldiers find employment after stepping away from the service.
