Lodging:  The Evergreen Inn  offers a variety of rooms to include 20 Temporary Lodging Facilites for PCS personnel and families.  Evergreen Inn will begin offering two (2) pet-firiendly TLFs on base. There is a limit of two (2) pets per unit, dogs or cats only. There is a charge of $10 per night/pet. Proof of current rabies shot  and a Pet Agreement must be provided at time of check-in. These units are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Base Location: Joint Base Lewis-McChord is the name of the combined military installations of Fort Lewis, WA and McChord AFB.  The base is located about 9 miles southwest of Tacoma, Washington with the former McChord AFB at the northern end of the base, closest to Tacoma.  Adjacent to Tacoma and near to the base is the city of Fife, WA.  McChord AFB Map and Base Housing Information
