Lodging Details:  Fort A.P. Hill lodging offers many different choices in recreational lodging;  from "The Lodge" at Travis Lake which can accomodate  gatherings, weddings, receptions, business, or leisure, to family cottages at Bullocks Pond or Travis Lake.  Also there is an RV park, "Champ's Camp"  available for active authorized DoD card holders. This facility includes 49 RV sites with water, sewage and electrical hook-ups.  Service Center located across the street offers restrooms, showers, vending, and laundry facilities.

Base Location:  Fort A.P. Hill is located near the town of Bowling Green, VA, in the northeastern portion of the state.  It is 20 miles southeast of Fredericksburg and about 40 miles north of Richmond.  The post is easily accessible from Route 301 or Interstate 95.  Fort A.P.
