Base Location: Naval Base Kitsap is a U.S. Navy base located on the Kitsap Peninsula in Washington State.  It was created in 2004 by merging the former Naval Station Bremerton with the Naval Submarine Base Bangor. The city of Silverdale, WA lies midway between the cities of Bangor and Bremerton, and nearby to the east of the facilities are the cities of Poulsbo, Suquamish, and Bainbridge Island.
